Report: Qatar Spends Tens of Millions to Delegitimize Israel in US Education System

Jewish Insider introduces readers to a report from the Institute for Research on Global Antisemitism and Policy, according to which Qatar spent $65 million over 17 years promoting anti-Israel narratives in the US education system.

The payments were made through the Qatar International Foundation, a US-registered division of the Qatar Foundation, whose official purpose is to teach the Arabic language and introduce Arab culture around the world.

The study notes that the foundation interacts with institutions throughout the American education system, from schools to universities, including teacher training programs. He is pursuing an agenda that denies Israel’s right to exist and to improve its relations with the Arab world. She is also involved in normalizing terror.

The institute calls for a federal investigation into Qatar’s subversive activities and for the foundation to be added to the list of foreign organizations whose activities are prohibited in the United States.

Note that in February, Reuters reported that in 2025 alone, foreign funding for American universities amounted to $5.2 billion. 1.2 billion was provided by Qatar.
