Baghai: “The US could not have been unaware of the Israeli strike”

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei questioned claims that the US administration was caught off guard by Israeli strikes on Iranian soil.

“No one will believe that the Israeli regime would take such actions without coordination with the United States. America bears full responsibility for this aggression, it will also have to answer for the consequences of any escalation,” the Iranian official added.

According to him, Iran has information according to which the US Central Command took part in both planning the strike and protecting the Zionist entity. “This completely undermines the credibility of the United States,” he said.
