CNN: US tells Iran Israel will not intensify attacks on targets in southern Lebanon

The US has told Iran that Israel will not escalate its strikes in southern Lebanon, but now “everything depends on whether Hezbollah stops,” CNN reported, citing its own source.

Iran sought guarantees from the United States to stop Israeli attacks in Lebanon even before the negotiations under the memorandum of understanding.
