Cooking with Berlin’s Economics Senator Franziska Giffey: The SPD politician has written a small cookbook. She is responding to the requests of her followers, as Giffey explains on Instagram. When she publishes photos of baking and cooking, people always ask about the recipes, says Giffey. “Now the time has come: I’ve decided to write a little cookbook and actually share some of the recipes,” said the 48-year-old on Instagram.
The result is a “limited edition that cannot be purchased and is given away,” as Giffey says. Included are twelve of her most popular recipes – one for each month.
The SPD politician will present her greetings from the kitchen this Monday (July 6th) in a bookstore in Berlin-Rudow, where her constituency is. Together with moderator Rudi Zelle, she wanted to talk to people, said Giffey. Because that should be “a bit of the message of this little book”: “Good food with lovely people” and having good conversations together.
