US President Donald Trump spoke in Truth Social about the possible renaming of the Strait of Hormuz in his honor.
“Now that it is under US control, maybe we should rename the Strait of Hormuz the Trump Strait??? Like America itself, it would be in the spotlight more than ever!” – Trump wrote on the social network.
The night before, Trump announced new US strikes against Iranian targets in the Strait of Hormuz and said that Washington had established “almost complete control” over it.
