Monday morning in Zagreb brought scenes that are rarely seen. A large strike from the morning hours stopped the vast majority of trams and buses, so the streets of Zagreb were left without the usual morning rush of public transport. You can only occasionally see a few trams or buses on the railways and roads.
The strike was also felt in the industry. Only a few trucks went to the field, and their task is to remove waste exclusively from locations of special importance, in front of hospitals, old people’s homes, schools and kindergartens.
While a large part of city officials met the morning in a significantly different rhythm than usual, attention was also drawn to data on the salaries of the leaders of Zagreb Holding. The management of the Zagreb Holding is managed by the President of the Management Board, Ivan Novakovi. and čmembers of the Management Board Dubravko Karačić and Miljenko Hrman. According to data published on the website of Zagreb Holding, Novakov’s monthly basic salary is 6,800 euros.
