One person was detained for 2 months in the case of the death of the soldier who died in the explosion

The Ministry of Defense announced the death of the soldier on the afternoon of September 24. But neither the military department nor the Investigative Committee investigating the circumstances of the death have specified what kind of explosion took place, where: inside the military unit or outside it. The issue of whether the soldier ended his life with a grenade, as is circulating in the press, is also not specified.

The contract soldier who died in the explosion was from Hayrenyats village of Shirak marz. Dmitry Kyureghyan was 23 years old. The administrative head told “Azatutyun” earlier that he does not know the details of the case.

Prior to this incident, 14 servicemen died in service-related circumstances in the eight months of this year.
