The Prime Minister, Giorgia Melonifiled today an application for registration of his vocal timbre at the Euipo, the European Union Intellectual Property Officeas can be seen from Euipo’s own website. In this way the Prime Minister intends to protect her voice, which could be counterfeited by artificial intelligence programs to be used fraudulently for any purpose. The request, we read, is being evaluated.

On the Euipo website it is also specified that the “representative” for the practice is Praxi Intellectual Property SpA whose Rome headquarters is located in via Leonida Bissolati. “I am Giorgia Meloni” is the phrase repeated twice which, as anticipated by Repubblica, is reported in an audio on the organisation’s website.
