Democrat neutralization plan: Biden’s professional woman moves to Trump’s side

So far, the American initiative has been stalled, mainly due to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s refusal to take any steps in Gaza before the elections scheduled for October 27. However, in recent months, a number of prominent Democrats have expressed support for Trump’s initiative, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who backed the plan last June and called it the most practical and feasible proposal.

Greenspan, a veteran civil servant at the State Department, served on the National Security Council at the White House during former President Biden’s tenure, both as liaison to the American Jewish community and as director of partnerships and global engagement. Now, in her new role in the Peace Council, she will lead foreign affairs and will be responsible for informing Congress and Middle East experts.

In a statement given by the Peace Council to the “Axios” website, it is written that “Shelly brings with her deep experience in cross-party work, having honestly earned the trust of both Democrats and Republicans through her service in the White House, the National Security Council and the State Department in administrations of both parties.” The council also added that “Continued bipartisan support from Congress is essential to the work ahead of us, and that I am uniquely qualified to lead this effort.”

Greenspan herself said in response that in her last position at the State Department she worked to promote Trump’s vision for peace and prosperity in the Middle East. “I saw how the President’s 20-point plan can provide tangible results for the residents of Gaza and Israel,” she noted, “I look forward to continuing this work with the Council.”
