Russia’s permanent representative to the UN said that the United States has drones with “combat mosquitoes”

On October 28, at the third meeting of the UN Security Council in the last three days, Vasily Nebenzya, the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the organization, announced that the United States has a patented drone that carries mosquitoes infected with a dangerous virus.

According to Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, “the drone transports a container with mosquitoes to the designated area and releases them” so that the insects infect their victims.

According to Nebenzi, such “combat mosquitoes can be significantly more effective than the most modern weapons and military equipment.” The permanent representative even clarified that “the explanatory note to the project explicitly states that an infected serviceman will not be able to perform the tasks assigned to him.”

Nebenzi’s speech caused a strong reaction in the Ukrainian media and social networks.

“Combat mosquitoes, dirty bombs… It’s too late to treat patients there. We need to return them to a ward called ‘Russia’ and isolate them,” Andriy Yermak, head of the office of the President of Ukraine, wrote on Telegram.
