A shooting at an LGBTQ club in Colorado left at least five people dead and 18 people injured (USA)

This Sunday’s shooting at an LGBTQ club in Colorado Springs, in the US state of Colorado, resulted in at least five fatalities and 18 injuries, according to the police department.

According to the police statement gathered by the neighborhood station KRDO, the event, which is currently under investigation, happened at Club Q at about 0:03 in the morning local time (or 0:03 in mainland Spain).

An injured suspect who is being treated at a nearby hospital is in custody, according to a police spokesman. The next media appearance by the security personnel won’t happen until 08:00 local time (16:00 in Spain).

In the interim, the area has been roped off by the police, who have urged caution until more information on the incident is available.
