Shalom Amar, an Israeli living in Las Vegas, was shot and killed last Monday night. Apparently, the murder of 59-year-old Amar took place outside his home.
Local police forces arrived at the scene of the murder, and began an investigation. So far no suspects have been arrested. According to local news sites, Amar’s identity was only revealed yesterday.
The event is recognized by the representative of the Department for Israelis Abroad in the Consular Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles. The officials are in contact with Amar’s family, trying to help. Great efforts are being made to move Amar’s coffin to Israel, until the beginning of next week.
