Cakes, soup and murderous intent: How a Russian domino tried to kill a double and steal an identity

A 47-year-old woman appeared in court in New York this week Victoria Nasirova. This dangerous lady from Russia in this trial is accused of trying to kill her doppelgänger, who she tried to poison by planting tranquilizers in the chicken soup and cheesecake she served her.

– She is a very manipulative person. When you take all the charges against her, she is a threat to society – the private detective told the NY Post Herman Weisberg who located the Russian woman in Brooklyn there in 2017. At that time, Interpol was also looking for her, and she was ‘hiding’ in New York…

In previous interviews with the American media, Nasirova rejected the accusations of poisoning. Her lawyer told the jury on Monday that the charges against his client do not match the actions of the former fugitive…

And the story with Nasirova begins there in 2014 in Russia.

Nasirova was then caught on camera driving a car while the body of her neighbor was next to her. Ale Aleksenko. The body of the unfortunate woman was barely identified later.

– All that was left was a skull and a few bones. No left arm, no leg… I couldn’t believe it – said the daughter of the murdered Ala, Nadezhda.

According to the NY Post, court documents later showed that Nasirova failed a lie detector test when questioned about her neighbor’s death. Russian authorities believe she killed a 54-year-old woman in order to get her hands on $53,000 she earned from selling the family home. But they didn’t catch her.

Nasirova disappeared and appeared in Brooklyn. There she used the names Rachel and Mara while working as a domino.

– We mutually satisfied our primal instincts. I gave them what they didn’t get at home. You know what I’m talking about. Men who want to be women, but cannot openly be – Nasirova recalled in an interview about her time in the sex industry.

As this job “requires” a lot of care for physical appearance, she often used the services of various beauty salons, and in one of them she met a stylist/make-up artist. Okay Cijuk.

In August 2016, Viktorija arranged an appointment with Olga, but at the last moment she informed her that she could not make it to the salon. She begged Olga to do a ‘home visit’ in Forest Hill and get her eyelashes done there. As a token of gratitude, she brought ‘cheesecake from the best pastry shop in New York’

Nasirova herself ate the cake, two slices, while Olga ate one slice. Soon after eating the cake, Olga began to vomit. It lasted more than 20 minutes. She felt bad all night, but the next day her “friend Viktorija” came to “save” her.

With the universal ‘medicine’ – soup.

But the chicken soup didn’t help her. She fell into a coma. She was found in bed and various pills were scattered everywhere. Prosecutors claim that Nasirova staged the crime scene and tried to present everything as a suicide. Both the cake and the soup were ‘seasoned’ with phenazepam,

– In some photos, we really look identical, as if we were sisters – said Ciuk, who barely survived the poisoning, a year after the attack.

After three days in the hospital, Olga began to remember some details. She told how Nasirova searched her apartment…

And Victoria rejects the allegations of poisoning.

– The last time we saw each other, she wasn’t feeling well. She said that she ate something bad and got food poisoning – claims Nasirova.

Prosecutors claim that Nasirova took cash, Ciuka’s passport and work card, as well as clothes and jewelry, which she sold for about $100,000.

– Everything in this case was done very carefully and methodically by the accused. The accused is a very smart person. This is not a joke. It’s not just a story. It’s not an accident and it’s not a mistake. This defendant intended to kill this woman and steal her identity – he said Konstantinos LitourgisQueens Assistant District Attorney.

She was not immediately caught. From the beginning of the story, Detective Weisberg talked to the relatives of the woman who is believed to have been killed by Nasirova in Russia, in order to get some information about her. Luck smiled on him when this domino posted a photo from Manhattan on social networks in 2017.

– I couldn’t believe he was in New York – says Weisberg.

Nasirova was eventually arrested for murdering Aleksenko in March 2017 with the help of Weisberg.

She was later charged with second-degree murder in February 2018 for allegedly attempting to kill Ciukova. If convicted, she faces up to 25 years in prison.

But that is not all. A man from Queens came forward later and claims that Viktoria drugged him seven years ago. In 2016, he ate food prepared for him by Nasirova there and ended up in the hospital.

“His symptoms were almost identical to those of Olga. You will find out that the person who did all this is the one who is accused here,” Litourgis said during the trial.

Viktorija Nasirova was previously accused of drugging and robbing two Brooklyn men she met on dating sites. She pleaded guilty and was not severely punished, only 90 days in prison…

Although everything points to her being behind the attempted murder, experts warn that it will not be easy to prove.
