Caucasus war: Russia has to pay 130 million euros in compensation

However, Russia has allowed South Ossetian forces to carry out looting, arson, abuse and torture. Georgian civilians were captured, expelled or killed. So far, the question of compensation has remained open.

Now the judges ruled on Friday that Russia must pay Georgia almost 130 million euros, including around 115 million euros alone because Georgians were not allowed to return to Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
