A Russian ship sailed near where the Nord Stream 2 exploded four days earlier, according to Danish media.

He Russian ship SS-750,with a mini-submarine on board, was photographed near the place where the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline was sabotaged just four days before the explosions on September 26, Danish media reported on Friday.

This special vessel is designed to carry out operations under the sea and has an AS-26 Priz mini-submarine on board. The Danish Defense Command has confirmed to these media that they have 26 photographs of the ship.

“The SS-750 is a special ship that is designed precisely for underwater operations,” says the Swedish researcher quoted by the Danish portal ‘Information’, Russia expert and intelligence expert Joakim von Braun.

According to this newspaper, the Norwegian Defense Command is also in possession of 112 images of Russian vessels in the area. But this is the first time that the defense has confirmed that it is the specific Russian ship SS-750 with the mini-submarine on board.

At the same time, the Norwegian Defense Command refuses to provide access to the photos of the Russian special vessel, as the photos are “intelligence in nature” and “are part of intelligence work.”

various theories

German outlet T-Online had reported that the SS-750 was one of six Russian warships that may have been in the area in the days before the pipeline sabotage.

The Nord Stream explosions are currently being investigated by the Danish, Swedish and German authorities. It is not known when these investigations will be completed.

Until now, several theories have circulated about the sabotage of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. The first theory that gained relevance was disseminated by the Pulitzer-winning journalist, the American Seymour Hersh, information that was questioned by the forms -it was published on his blog- and the lack of identified sources. In his opinion, he would have been the US promoter of the sabotage. However, weeks later, the NY Times and German media pointed intelligence information at Ukrainian saboteurs who caused the explosions.
