Zelensky. “The International Criminal Court is already dealing with the case of exploding the Kakhovka HPP dam”

The president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, said that an investigation has already begun at the level of the International Criminal Court in the case of the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP dam.

“Representatives of the International Criminal Court visited Kherson region. On the very first day of the disaster, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine sent a request for an investigation to that court,” said Zelensky.

After the destruction of the dam, a large number of settlements appeared under water. The sides blame each other for the dam explosion.

Zelensky said it was important for international experts to see the consequences of the disaster, including shelling of flooded areas.

According to him, during this period, Ukrainian rescuers evacuated about 4,000 residents, including those from the eastern bank of the Dnieper River occupied by Russia.
