On Friday, February 4, the building of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of the Philippines caught fire in Manila, according to the Department of the Situation and Crisis Center (DSCC) of the Russian Foreign Ministry. Firefighters arrived at the scene.
As a result of the incident, no one was injured. Russian diplomats and members of their families who were in the building were evacuated.
The causes of the fire are being investigated.
