Let’s remind A 22-year-old woman from Luxembourg went into labor suddenly in the toilet of the bathroom, she didn’t know she was pregnant. There, she gave birth to a healthy baby girl with the assistance of a family member and a park ranger. She was in Paklenica National Park with her parents, partner and relatives, and the rescuers were called because the woman was sick. A team of on-duty rescuers immediately responded to the rescue operation, and in the meantime it was established that the woman was giving birth. The sequence of events surprised even them, especially since the rescuers on duty are not even equipped for such interventions.

The anesthesiologist, Dr. Adela Ušanović, was the first with the HGSS team to come to the mother, followed an hour later by the gynecologist, Dr. Dora Perinčić, who, with her husband and her own four-month-old baby, found herself in the HGSS house, an hour’s walk away. .
