The Russian Ministry of Justice has updated the register of “foreign agents”, including, in particular, journalist Konstantin Eggert, political scientist Kirill Rogov and blogger Alexander Shtefanov.

The list of “foreign agents” also includes Vitaly Dymarsky, editor-in-chief of the historical magazine Diletant, oil and gas industry analyst Mikhail Krutikhin, Circassian activist Martin Kochesokov, the Dovod publication, and the MRR-Fund gemeinnützige UG organization implementing the My Russian Rights project.

The Ministry of Justice said in a statement that Kirill Rogov took part in the creation and dissemination of materials by “foreign agents”, and also spoke out against the Russian invasion of Ukraine and disseminated “inaccurate information about the decisions made by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies.”

The Ministry of Justice explained that Vitaly Dymarsky was included in the register by the fact that he allegedly disseminated “inaccurate information” about the decisions of the Russian authorities, as well as the actions of the Russian army.

The legal entity of the publication Rosbalt was also excluded from the register of “foreign agents”. The Ministry of Justice explained it by “stopping receiving funds from foreign sources.”
