Soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Opera Company Maxim Paster dies at the age of 47

On September 1, in Makhachkala, at the age of 47, the soloist of the Bolshoi Opera Company Maxim Paster died suddenly. His death is reported on the official website of the Bolshoi Theater.

Causes of death were not named.

Maxim Paster was born on December 4, 1975 in Kharkov (Ukraine, USSR) into a family of choirmasters. In 1994 he graduated from the department of choral conducting of the Kharkov Musical College, in 2003 – the vocal department of the Kharkov State Institute of Arts. In 2002-2003 he was a soloist at the Kharkov State Opera and Ballet Theatre. In 2003 he made his debut at the Taras Shevchenko National Opera of Ukraine. In 2003 he made his debut at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. In 2004 he was admitted to the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. Since 2013 he has taught at the Russian Academy of Theater Arts, was a senior lecturer in the Department of Vocal Art.
