Israel, attack on Hadera: Two Israelis killed by 2 Arab gunman

Two Israeli policemen were injured today in the city of Hadera. Two Arab armed men hit them, subsequently shot and killed by officers. The police have made it known.

“Fortunately, our agents were able to neutralize the assailants and prevent a larger terrorist attack,” National Police spokesman Eli Levy said on Israeli television Kan, who showed footage of two men, armed with rifles, opening the fire on a main road in Adera, about 50 kilometers north of Tel Aviv.

The attack coincided with the Negev Summit, which brings together the foreign ministers of Israel, the USA, Bahrain, the Arab Emirates, Egypt and Morocco.

Two Israelis died in the attack that took place this evening in Hadera. The Emergency Service said it had reported three people injured and that the perpetrators, two Arab men, had been neutralized by the police.
