A shooting took place in Sacramento, California, on Sunday morning. There are 15 victims, of which six are dead.
The shooting began at 2 a.m. Saturday in downtown Sacramento. A man shot from a car in otherwise unclear circumstances up to 50 times at a group of people standing in front of a restaurant. Footage on social media shows how a fight took place at about the same time in the same location, but it is not clear whether the two incidents have anything to do with each other.
At least 15 victims are said to have been killed, 6 of which died on the spot. The local police announced this on Twitter. The gunman fled after the shooting, it is not clear whether he has since been arrested. A spokesman for the local police just wanted to confirm that an investigation is underway and asked people to avoid the area.
