A software malfunction stopped trains across the Netherlands
Trains operated by the national railway network were stopped today throughout the Netherlands due to, as the NS operator announced, technical problems.The railway operator NS announced that a problem was identified in the software system and that it was not caused by a hacker attack.

The trains will be stopped until 5 pm, when work will be done to solve the problem.

Regional trains run by other operators continue to operate.
