In Belarus, the products of “Ararat Cognac Factory” were banned

Alexander Tarasenko, the chief state sanitary doctor of Belarus, banned the import and sale of the products of “Ararat brandy factory”. This was reported by the press service of the regional center of hygiene, epidemiology and public health in Gomel, according to the Russian news agency TASS.

The message states that the import, storage, transportation, sale and use of the products of Belarus “Ararat Brandy Factory” LLC is prohibited “in connection with the discovery of inconsistency” in the product.

The reason for the ban is the detection of a dye in the product. It is noted that the factory’s products should be withdrawn from trade and disposed of. “Ararat brandy factory” produces wine and brandy.
