In Damascus, along with the commander of the Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon, his deputy was eliminated

The Saudi TV channel Al-Hadat reported the name of another liquidated Quds Force officer in Damascus. This is “Brigadier General” Muhammad-Hajji Rahimi, deputy commander of the Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon.

Earlier, Al-Arabiya TV channel reported that the target of the IDF attack in Damascus was the commander of the Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon, Muhammad Riza Zahadi, formerly in charge of the IRGC air force.

An attack attributed to the IDF on a building near the Iranian consulate in Damascus killed six Iranians, including several diplomats. However, according to Iranian media, the Iranian ambassador to Syria was not injured.

The SANA news agency published a statement by the Iranian Ambassador to Damascus, Hussein Akbari, saying that the attack on the embassy shows that Israel does not recognize any international laws and norms, and is ready to do anything to achieve its goals.

After 17:00, reports of explosions in Damascus appeared in the Syrian media. Al-Arabiya TV channel reported that the Israeli Air Force struck a building near the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which currently serves as an embassy.

Syrian military sources said Israeli planes carried out the attack while over the Golan Heights. The air defense system was activated, and some of the missiles were intercepted. As a result of the strike, the building was completely destroyed, the people inside were either killed or injured.
