Sardinia: countdown for the Todde Council, the first names

Within this week the new president of the Sardinia Region, Alessandra Todde, will have to close the agreement on the future council with the centre-left Campo Largo parties with which she won the elections of 25 February. The criteria of competence, of gender equality representativeness and territoriality should guide it in the choice of councilors, taking into account the indications of the coalition forces.
The Democratic Party, the first party in the coalition, claims the presidency of the Regional Council, which could go to the Sardinian secretary Piero Comandini, who, at that point, would make his mandate available to his people. THE dem also asked for the vice-presidency of the council regional for Giuseppe Meloni (president of the party), in addition to the departments of Budget and Planning (again for Meloni), General Affairs and Environment. Officially the names will be proposed to Todde by the Democratic Party in these days.

The second party, the M5S, of which the president is a member, could go to Health and Work, unless Todde entrusts the first to a technician. The outgoing regional councilor Desire’ Manca, the most voted in Sardinia on 25 February with over 8 thousand preferences collected in the Sassari constituency, could be designated for the other department, but it is still one of the hypotheses.
Alleanza Verdi Sinistra could obtain public works, with the outgoing regional councilor Antonino Piu, re-elected in the Sassari area, while Orizzonte Comune has asked for Tourism, Crafts and Commerce, subjects within the scope of the regional coordinator Franco Cuccureddu, former mayor of Castelsardo, elected in the constituency of Sassari . Sinistra Futura focuses on the Department of Culture and Public Education, for which the name of the unelected councilor candidate Andrea Dettori is mentioned.
