“Although the high-ranking officials of the USA and the European Union tried to convince us in the telephone conversations of the last few days that this meeting was not directed against us, but we know that it is against Azerbaijan, against cooperation in the South Caucasus. It aims to create dividing lines and isolate Azerbaijan,” Ilham Aliyev said today at the meeting with former Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Baku.
Emphasizing that the geopolitical situation has changed, Aliyev considered it important that the Turkish-Azerbaijani unity should be stronger today, as always, and expressed his belief that the intentions of those who want to break this unity will fail.
