The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation included writer Mikhail Weller in the register of “foreign agents”

The Russian Ministry of Justice included writer Mikhail Weller and businesswoman Anastasia Tatulova in the register of “foreign agents.”

In a statement, the Ministry of Justice said that Weller opposed “a special military operation in Ukraine” and also “called for actions, the results of which could lead to a violation of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation.”

Tatulova, the ministry said, also opposed the “special military operation”, in addition, “disseminated false information aimed at creating a negative image of the Russian Federation.”

Both Weller and Tatulova, as noted in the report, live outside of Russia.

Mikhail Weller is a writer, author of the short stories “Legends of Nevsky Prospekt” and “Legends of Arbat”, the collection of short stories “The Knife of Serezha Dovlatov” and the novel “The Adventures of Major Zvyagin”.

Anastasia Tatulova is the founder of the Anderson cafe chain, which was sold to Vkusville in 2023 after massive inspections. In 2020-2022, she held the position of ombudsman in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises.
