Wave of Russian drones over Odessa and Mykolaiv

Russia carried out a night attack on energy infrastructure in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions. This was reported by the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, specifying that Moscow targeted the two southern regions with a wave of drones, 12 of which were shot down over Mykolaiv Oblast, while another two were shot down over Odessa Oblast. “We are assessing the extent of the damage to the power plant. A private house and several cars were also damaged,” Odessa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov wrote on Telegram.

Russian forces also targeted Odessa with missiles. The attack damaged critical infrastructure and a transportation company, injuring two employees. According to the mayor, one person was injured. The State Emergency Service said firefighters also put out a fire at a power plant in the Mykolaiv district, as well as a fire in the coastal settlement of Ochakiv, where fragments of downed drones had set fire to an area of ​​about 200 meters squares.

SBU agent arrested in Zaporizhzhia, preparing attack

Russian special services agents arrested in Zaporizhzhia an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), who was preparing a terrorist attack against Russian military personnel. This was reported by the press service of the Russian regional FSB department, adding that “the SBU coordinated the terrorist’s activities by providing him with weapons.” During the search of the suspect’s home – reports Tass – Russian agents found and seized 3 TNT bombs of 400 g each and components for the manufacture of an incendiary mixture.
