Iranian agency deletes message about closure of airspace over Tehran

The Iranian Mehr agency quoted Iranian Defense Minister General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani as saying that the airspace over Tehran was closed in connection with the exercises. The news was soon deleted.

On the evening of April 10, the German airline Lufthansa announced the cancellation of all flights to and from Tehran scheduled for Thursday, April 11, “due to the current situation in the Middle East.”

Israel is preparing for Iran to respond to the attack on the Iranian “consulate” in Damascus, attributed to the Jewish state, which killed seven high-ranking officers, including the commander of the Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon.

Western media name government agencies and IDF military bases, as well as Israeli missions abroad, as possible targets. Representatives of the Israeli leadership stated that such an attack would not go unanswered.
