Mr. Muasher, Jordan helped Israel defend against Iranian drones and missiles last week. While the West celebrated, Jordanians demonstrated against it. How did that happen?
Jordan is of course a close partner of the USA. However, our army did not repel the Iranian missiles as support, but out of its own interest – also to prevent regional escalation. Jordan finds itself in a difficult situation of conflict between two unfriendly neighboring states: Israel and Iran. Relations with both of them have never been worse than they are now.
