Lebanese media: The IDF used anti-bunker bombs for the first time in southern Lebanon

Lebanese media reported that, apparently for the first time since the beginning of the war, on April 24, the IDF Air Force used bunker-busting bombs when striking a target in Aita al-Shaab, in southern Lebanon.

This conclusion was made based on an analysis of amateur video recordings made by witnesses to the attack.

This information has not yet been officially confirmed by either the IDF or Hezbollah.

Let us note that many of Hezbollah’s infrastructure facilities in southern Lebanon are underground, and the use of bunker-busting bombs is logical.
