The Houthis are ready to shelter Hamas leaders if they are driven out of Qatar

A high-ranking representative of the Yemeni Houthis, Muhammad al-Buhaiti, who is a member of the Politburo of the Ansar Allah movement, invited the Hamas leadership to move to Sanaa. “We are ready for the consequences of this, even if the sky falls to the ground,” he was quoted as saying by Maan.

According to media publications, the United States is demanding that Qatari authorities expel Hamas leaders from the country if they interfere with a deal with Israel that would lead to the release of hostages held by terrorists in Gaza.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken conveyed a corresponding message to Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad bin Abdarrahman Al Thani, a US official told the Washington Post.

At the same time, many analysts, including former US Ambassador to Qatar Patrick Theros, said that expelling Hamas from Qatar would be a “nightmare” for the White House, as it would make any future negotiations virtually impossible.
