A glimpse of the futuristic hotel that will be restored in the heart of the desert

Saudi Arabia’s $500 billion futuristic Neom (NEOM) megaproject has announced its next tourism development – a huge luxury resort called Triam. The resort will be located at the southern end of the Gulf of Aqaba and will be presented as a “gateway” for travelers arriving at the tourist playground of Saudi Arabia.

Triom (Treyam) Strategically located where the desert meets the sea, set against a beautiful blue lagoon. The resort aims to integrate itself into the natural landscape while providing guests with a panoramic view of the lagoon and the open water. The developers of the project say that minimal intervention is required for the “bold design” of the resort, with the aim of creating an “elevated paradise” where guests can relax in the natural and majestic environment of the desert.

Triam’s design centers around a bridge-like structure connecting the north and south shores of the lagoon. The 250-room luxury hotel is located inside the bridge itself, at the top of which is the highlight of Triam – a huge 450-meter long infinity pool on the bridge’s roof. At a height of 36 meters above the sea, the elevated pool aims to make guests feel as if they are flying in the sky while taking in the expansive panoramic view. The designers say the bridge’s innovative sloped facade gives the illusion of perpetual sunset when viewed from afar. Guests on the upper and lower floors will have an unobstructed view of the lagoon and the open sky.

An architectural wonder

Triam Hotel will be built as a testament to innovative architectural design. Its sleek, geometric structure blends seamlessly with the surrounding desert landscape, evoking a sense of harmony between nature and human ingenuity. The front of the hotel, decorated with reflective panels, reflects the changing shades of the desert sky, creating a mesmerizing visual spectacle.

Upon entering the lobby, guests will be greeted by glowing ceilings in an environment of minimalist design that will not detract from the panoramic views of the desert. The interior spaces will exude an atmosphere of tranquility, with natural light streaming in through expansive windows, with contemporary furnishings and art displays inspired by Saudi heritage.

The technology in the hotel will seamlessly integrate into every aspect of the guest experience. Smart sensors adjust the lighting and climate control systems according to occupancy and environmental conditions, ensuring optimal comfort while minimizing energy consumption. Guests will be able to customize their stay using a dedicated mobile app that will allow them to control room amenities, contact virtual concierge services and check recommendations for dining and leisure activities.

Luxury in the heart of the desert

Beyond its state-of-the-art facilities, Triam Hotel will offer a wealth of experiences. Guests will be able to go on guided desert tours, cross ancient trade routes and encounter local flora and fauna along the way. Sunset yoga sessions among the dunes will provide a peaceful escape for relaxation, while stargazing tours will offer a glimpse into the cosmos against the backdrop of the desert night sky. Above all, Triam is located right on the sea, so guests can participate in marine activities such as diving, snorkeling, sailing and luxurious dining on glittering yachts.

For culinary lovers, the hotel will offer a variety of dining options that will showcase the diverse flavors of Saudi Arabian cuisine and international gastronomy. From dining in the open air under the stars to intimate gatherings in private dining suites.

Triam joins a line-up of up-and-coming tourism destinations within the Gulf of Aqaba: Zardun, a new mega-luxury resort within a nature reserve full of animals and wildlife; Xaynor, a luxury resort; and the mountain resort That one. Meanwhile, work continues on Neom’s flagship areas, including the vertical city THE LINE.
