Paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, glass, engravings, lithographs, documents, books and photographs lead the public to immerse themselves in Dalin’s universe, free from the rigidity of rules, where reality is made up of dreams.

To complete this journey, works by other authors who shared the idea of an art with a dreamlike and surreal character with Dalí are also on display, such as René Magritte, Max Ernst, André Masson, Man Ray, Leonor Fini, Giorgio de Chirico, as well as writers of the caliber of André Breton, Jean Cocteau, Louis Aragon and many others. An event which, due to the works on display, takes on extraordinary relevance at an international level, celebrating not only Dalí, but also the entire European surrealist panorama.

“The exhibition itinerary develops with an anthological approach, starting from the early years of the artist’s career and from the fundamental meeting with figures such as the poet Federico García Lorca, represented in the exhibition by unpublished surrealist drawingsand the director Luis Buñuel, present with clips from films that marked Dalí’s creative path. – Explains the curator Vincenzo Sanfo – These ties contributed to shaping the future of one of the greatest protagonists of twentieth-century art. The journey continues through all the phases of Dalí’s artistic production, up to the last dreamlike experiments of the final years of his life”.

A journey into ‘beauty’, to bring anyone who crosses the entrance threshold to the museum closer and passionate about this world”.
