Tonight, CD Projekt Red released the first cinematic trailer for the Witcher 4 game, in which Ciri will be the protagonist of a completely new story. As stated on the game’s official website, Witcher 4 marks the beginning of a new saga in which Ciri is the protagonist and we follow her journey where she becomes a widow killer.

They announced the game two years ago, as one in a series that we will see in the following years. The Witcher 4 is the first part of a new trilogy in which we follow Ciri, and in this six-minute video, she goes into the forest to kill the widow who threatens the village. That is the only moment of the story that we have found out, we will probably find out details about the action itself from the following trailers.
Game producer Małgorzata Mitręga told IGN that Ciri was a logical and natural choice for the heroine of the new game. They say that she is a fantastic and layered character and a continuation after they said goodbye to Geralt. As she is younger than Geralt, the creators of the game also say that players will have more freedom in character creation.
From the announcement, we can clearly see that it is a game in Unreal Engine 5 and that it was created on a ‘yet unreleased GeForce graphics card’. And the date when they could play this certainly demanding game has not been announced.
