29 killed and wounded in a Russian attack on Dnipro, Ukraine

Four people were killed and 25 others were injured in Russian bombing of the city of Dnipro in eastern Ukraine, the region’s governor said in a post on social media.
Oleksandr Ganja, the official of the Dnepropetrovsk region, published pictures of broken windows in a store, following the attack that occurred in the morning.
He added: Ten of the wounded are in “serious condition.” They suffer injuries resulting from the explosion, “wounds resulting from shrapnel and fractures.”
Dnipro, an important industrial center, is located more than 100 kilometers from the front line extending across eastern and southern Ukraine.
Russian forces controlled a narrow strip of territory in the broader Dnepropetrovsk region, although it is not among the four Ukrainian regions that Moscow announced its annexation after the war.
Tens of thousands of civilians have been killed since war broke out in Ukraine in 2022. American-sponsored talks to resolve the conflict have failed to bring the parties closer to reaching an agreement, while negotiations have been stalled for weeks.
