Oppo raises the bar for camera phones with the new Find X9 Ultra, a premium smartphone that focus everything on photography and on professional video, with a setting increasingly closer to that of a dedicated camera.

The new top of the range, presented globally today, arrives with a new generation Hasselblad systemtwo 200 megapixel sensors and, above all, a 50 megapixel 10x optical telephoto lens that the company calls the first in the world in this configuration.

The heart of the device is in fact the imaging compartment. They have a place on the back five cameras: a 200-megapixel Hasselblad Ultra-Sensing main camera with a 1/1.12-inch Sony LYTIA 901 sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a 200-megapixel 3x telephoto lens, a 50-megapixel 10x telephoto lens and a multispectral True Color Camera designed to improve color fidelity.

According to Oppo, the focal range covers the equivalent of eight integrated lensesfrom 14 to 460 mm, pushing the phone into a territory that openly looks at creators and those who use the smartphone as a visual work tool.

Particular emphasis is given precisely to the zoom. To fit a true 10x optical lens into a slim chassis, Oppo has developed a five-reflection periscope structure, alongside dedicated optical architecture and Sensor Shift stabilization.

The promised result is one greater sharpness at long focal lengths and a useful quality even beyond the classic digital zoom. Alongside this, the 200 megapixel main sensor also enables 2x crop with a yield similar to a 50 mm, while the 200 megapixel 3x telephoto focuses on brightness and close-up macro.

Oppo tries to position the Find X9 Ultra also as a video tool. The phone supports 4K recording at 60 fps in Dolby Vision on all cameras, 4K at 120 fps on the two 200 megapixel cameras and also introduces 8K at 30 fps, in addition to the ACES certified O-Log2 profile and support for 3D LUTs for a more streamlined color grading workflow. close to the professional one.
