Former police chief Kruneš got 4.5 years: Persuading a man to run over the grandchildren of an activist

They also found him guilty of threatening a witness in that case, and it is about a woman with whom he was in a relationship and damaged her car with his official vehicle. They declared him guilty of two criminal offenses of incitement to serious murder, and of obstructing evidence and damaging other people’s property.

The whole conflict took place back in 2015, when, according to the verdict, Kruneš persuaded a man to run over Šota’s grandchildren, who were then 10 and 13 years old, and Šota and her daughter reported Kruneš, until the man took action. Kruneš then asked the key witness to deny what Shota had reported him for.

He received three years for inciting the aggravated murder of each child, six months for preventing evidence, and three months for damaging the vehicle. The single sentence is four and a half years. Six years ago, he spent a month in pre-trial detention, which will be included in his sentence, according to the law.
