The author Inés Cardoso Albarracín has been awarded the Puy du Fou España Literature Prize for his work ‘The betrayal of Tenesoya’.
The entity has made public the list of winners of the second edition of its Awards, which in this edition has registered a total of 1,363 works presented.
Precisely, the award-winning work is “a story of great narrative strength that stands out for the emotional complexity of its protagonist“, as explained by du Fou España in a statement.
“And its ability to explore the conflicts between identity, loyalty and survival in the context of the conquest of the Canary Islands.“he adds.
The Second Prize went to Manuel Vidal Alejandre, from Alicante, for ‘Children eating grapes and melon’, a work set in Madrid during the Golden Age.
The Third Prize went to César Carballeda Moreno, from Castellón, for ‘A very valuable plot’
Afterwards, the Fourth Prize was awarded to Beatriz Álvarez Díez, from Madrid, for ‘The Last Captain’, a work that portrays historical figures such as Álvar Fáñez.
Finally, the Fifth Prize went to Benedicto Martínez Hernández, from Salamanca, for ‘La nao del fin del mundo’.
