The VChK-OGPU channel reported an attempt on the life of the “executioner Buchi”

Late in the evening of April 28, the VChK-OGPU channel reported that an explosion occurred in the Knyaze-Volkonskoe-1 military garrison in the Khabarovsk Territory of the Russian Federation, the target of which could have been Major General Azatbek Omurbekov, known as the commander of the 64th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Army, which is associated with the killings of civilians in Bucha. According to the channel, another officer, Lieutenant Colonel Kuzmenko, was killed in the explosion; Omurbekov himself was allegedly not injured.

There is no independent confirmation of this information, as well as official reports from the Russian authorities about the explosion, as of the morning of April 29.

Azatbek Omurbekov is a Russian military man, born on September 17, 1983; in the sanctions databases he is listed as the commander of the 64th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces.
