Why WAC coach Silberberger doesn’t care about the cup final

The Altachers are the next opponents on Monday Bottom line WAC in the fight against relegation. This gives WAC Thomas Silberberger the opportunity to take another close look at the Altach players’ legs.

TV instead of stadium

The Tyrolean, the fourth WAC coach this season, still decided not to visit the cup final on his doorstep. Not out of disinterest, but because he hates stadium small talk.

“When I go to the final, I meet hundreds of people and have to talk to everyone. Then I can’t really concentrate on the game,” says Silberberger.

The experienced coach prefers the couch to the stadium stands on Friday. “Of course I’ll watch the final on TV. That’s where I can relax and get a lot more out of the game.”

On Saturday, however, Thomas Silberberger is planning to travel to Graz, where he will watch his former club WSG Tirol in the away game against GAK.
