Australia: A 42-year-old woman was charged after making anti-Semitic chants

When asked by a passer-by to clarify her words, she did not go back and even repeated the shocking statement. In the video provided to the ABC network, Rivchin is seen confronting the woman head-on. She initially denied what was attributed to her many times, but later disparagingly stated that she was ready to talk to the police forces.

The disturbing incident took another grim turn when parents from the rival Saints team came to the woman’s defense after the public confrontation. “One person was recorded saying, ‘There’s a reason this happens to your people every weekend,’ and ‘You always play the victim,'” shared Rivchin, who expressed deep disappointment that her fellow club members did not condemn her behavior there.

Police forces who were called to the scene on Saturday morning removed the woman from the park, and on Sunday she was formally charged for using offensive language in a public place or near a school. She is expected to appear in court on June 17.
