When kingdom meets kingdom: Harry and Meghan’s family holiday

The Dukes of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, prove once again that they know how to enjoy life away from Britain. Megan shared on her Instagram account a collection of rare and particularly melting photos from a magical family vacation at Disneyland.

The group included Harry, children Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 4, and of course Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. The reason? Apparently this is a combination of Mother’s Day celebrations, along with Archie’s 7th birthday, which was just a few days before, on May 6th.

The photos begin with a particularly sweet moment where Megan gives her mother Doria a kiss on the cheek as they both proudly wear Mickey Mouse ears, while the children play in the background with ear balloons. The family was spotted happily walking around a park in California.

Lilibet received real royal treatment which included meeting the Disney princesses and a warm hug from Cinderella herself. What about her older brother? It turns out that Archie took the opportunity for a game of hide and seek and playfully peeked behind a pillar. If that’s not sweet enough, the family also enjoyed a leisurely boat ride and ended the tour in the Star Wars area.

Remember, since Harry (41) and Meghan (44) gave up their royal duties, they live in a luxury estate in Montecito, California. Luckily for them, the mansion is only a two-hour drive from Anaheim, where Disneyland is located. They seem to be taking full advantage of this closeness – it turns out it’s already a tradition, as the family was spotted celebrating at Disneyland in 2025 for Lilibet’s birthday as well.
