KKL will allocate 273 million shekels for the reconstruction of the north

The decision complements the organization’s previous steps in recent months, including allocating NIS 30 million to rebuild Kibbutz Manara.

In particular, 145 million shekels will be sent directly to populated areas of the confrontation line. A significant part of this amount – about 115 million shekels – is intended for the restoration of infrastructure and the development of 11 settlements close to the Lebanese border – Misgav Am, Malkiya, Margaliyot, Kfar Yuval, Dovev, Avivim, Shtula, Zirit, Hanita, Adamit and Arab al-Aramshe.

NIS 20 million has been allocated for the modernization and construction of security roads in coordination with the Ministry of Defense to ensure safe movement between populated areas and along north-south axes during an emergency.

10 million shekels will go towards upgrading the amphitheater at Beit Lohamei HaGetaot.

The NIS 128.5 million Golan Heights development program includes an investment of NIS 70 million in agricultural work, land preparation for residential development in rural settlements and the construction of public buildings.

45 million shekels will be used to create a “Center of Excellence” in Katzrin, environmental development of the city and improvement of parks.

NIS 13.5 million has been allocated for the purchase of residential complexes for dormitories.
