DFB comeback yes or no?

Neuer’s greatest success with the German national team was the 2014 World Cup title in Brazil. In the past few weeks and months there has been repeated speculation about a DFB comeback for the upcoming World Cup in North America. But Neuer has so far played it off.
According to a Sky report, the 40-year-old is on the provisional, 55-name, non-public squad list that the DFB sent to FIFA. The team boss gives his 26-man final World Cup squad Julian Nagelsmann announced next Thursday (May 21st).
