After the Hot Sale, the ‘Black Wholesaler’ starts: there will be discounts of up to 40%

The event will take place from this Monday to Sunday, with discounts of up to 40%. There are essential mass consumption products on offer, such as food, drinks and perfumery and cleaning items.

The campaign applies to physical branches and virtual storesin which chains such as Macro, Vital, Maxioffertas, NiNi y Jaguar; and is organized by the Argentine Chamber of Distributors and Wholesale Self-Services (A step). According to the entity, it is “aimed at both the general public and local businesses.”

In that sense, from the chamber they indicated that The objective is to promote consumption and strengthen the channelfrom which local businesses that handle day-to-day purchases are supplied: supermarkets, warehouses, perfumeries and kiosks.

This edition is the fourthsince the initiative was launched in November 2024 and in 2025 there were two others: one in May and another in November. In the previous ones, a similar number of businesses participated, both with their physical stores and their online sales platforms.

With this action, they announced that wait “generate a multiplier effect that benefits the entire chain: from the manufacturer to the distributor and wholesaler, until reaching the local trade and the final consumer.

“So far in May, we hardly receive updated price lists. April ended 4.8% down in sales compared to April 2025 and the first quarter closed 2.6% up versus the first three months of last year,” highlighted the vice president of the chamber, Armando Farina.

The latest report from the consulting firm Scientia indicated that in March, wholesalers suffered a sales drop of 8.8% versus March 2025, while against February there were an increase of 13.8%.
