Tragedy on vacation: Tourists fall to their deaths from a suspension bridge

Labuan Bajo (Indonesian) – What began as a dream trip ends in a fatal tragedy: two tourists from Austria die while hiking in Indonesia when a wooden suspension bridge suddenly gives way beneath them.

Astrid (56) and Jürgen (54) were on the island of Flores on Sunday. Your destination: the popular Cunca Wulang waterfall. But the trip ends in disaster. A 50-meter-long wooden suspension bridge that leads through dense jungle to the waterfall gave way to tourists.

Tourists fall 20 meters into river

After walking about 10 meters, the structure collapsed within a few seconds. Astrid and Jürgen fell about 20 meters into the depths.
