Panama published the list for the World Cup: Here are the players who threaten Croatia

For the second time in its history, Panama has placed on the big world stage after making its debut in 2018 when the host of the championship was Russia.

Alberto Quintero missed the championship eight years ago due to injury, and this time the experienced 38-year-old is attackingč found on the passenger list. In his career, Quintero played 140 games for the national team. The coach of Panama made a small surprise by not inviting the gifted 18-year-old midfielder of Brazilian Botafogo Kadir Barrio.

“At the championship, we want to write the history of Panamanian football. We want to do something very nice and big and play our best matches at the championship,” said coach Christiansen.

Before the championship, Panama will play friendly matches against Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The championship will open with a match against Ghana on June 18, while Croatia will play in the second round of Group L on June 24 at 1 a.m. CET in Toronto.
