All Cabinet members are expected to attend the gathering, including outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. A White House official told the New York Post that the officials will present “the administration’s recent successes, which include achievements in the economy and the small business sector.” According to the report, the meeting will also include “highlights from the operation of the force to combat fraud and updates on foreign policy”.

As mentioned, the meeting is taking place against the background of the administration’s efforts to achieve a broad agreement with Tehran. Trump has indicated in recent days that the parties are approaching a potential breakthrough, but Iranian officials have publicly denied claims that an agreement is about to be signed.
